school is finally over! i've been feeling so cozy lately. must be the magic of christmas, even though we still have no snow in salt lake..

mother nature's letdowns aside, the last couple days of oatmeal fest have been amazing. that coziness has been manifesting itself into my meals, i find myself only wanting simpler, more homey oats than usual.

*applesauce
*coconut milk
*vanilla
*maple almond butter
*raisins
*cinnamon
*brown sugar

adding nut butter to oatmeal is a miracle. i need to do that more often.

today's oats were nothing if not festive..

 red, green, and white. christmas in a bowl.

*shredded coconut
*pepitas
*cinnamon
*vanilla
*frozen tart cherries
*brown sugar

dried coconut also adds fantastic texture to oats. come to think of it, when is coconut ever a bad thing?
