welcome to my blog! i'm flan, and i am a wannabe blogger who hails from salt lake city.
the blogging community completely fascinates me. in 2009, i lived in indonesia for a year as an exchange student and that was really my big introduction to the worlds of cooking, eating, and blogging. i learned about raw foods, food in general, and the creative, fashion-blogger universes. all of these have really inspired me and have given me a desire to learn more about lifestyle choices and living closer to nature. because of things i learned while abroad, i am now a full-time vegan, sometimes raw, and passionate cook. i hope i can get over my teenage laziness and make a contribution to something i really admire. you can read all about my time in Indonesia
